Zondag 20 september gaven we een Danteconcert ten bate van de restauratie van de Laurentiuskerk in Rotterdam/ For the restauration of the Cathedral St. Laurentius in Rotterdam we gave a Danteconcert there.

Zondag 30 augustus:Tijdens het jaarlijkse Gebroeders van Limburgfestival trokken we mee in Benedictijner kovels in de grootse middeleeuwse optocht, de hertogelijke stoet "De Blijde Incomste". En we trokken zingend in en om de Sint Steven.

We joined the annual festival of the Gebroeders van Limburg. Dressed in Benedictine hoods in the medieval pageant, the ducal procession of ‘De Blijde Incomste’.

Zondag 26 juli 2009 Flavigny sur Ozerain (Fr) Ter gelegenheid van het 60-jarig priesterfeest van pater Augustinus Hollaardt O.P. zongen we de hoogmis./ 26 July: High Mass in Flavigny sur Ozerain (France) on the occasion of the celebration of the 60^th anniversary of the ordination of father Augustinus Hollaardt O.P.

Zo'n 600 jaar geleden klonken er voor het laatst monnikenstemmen in het klooster midden in het bos van Overasselt.

De Besloten Wereld van de Roermondse Kartuizers

Van vrijdag 27 maart 2009 tot en met zondag 21 juni 2009 vindt in Roermond een bijzondere tentoonstelling plaats, die het Nederlandse kartuizerleven tot onderwerp heeft en die deze orde vanuit nationaal en internationaal perspectief belicht. Op de Tentoonstelling zal niet alleen veel aandacht worden besteed aan de diverse Nederlandse kloosters, kloostergebouwen en hun geschiedenis, maar ook aan de rijke verscheidenheid in kunst- en gebruiksvoorwerpen, die hier door de eeuwen heen deel van hebben uitgemaakt. Een aantal topstukken uit nationale en internationale collecties zijn dan ook speciaal voor deze gelegenheid naar Roermond (terug)gehaald.

The Hidden World of the Carthusians of Roermond

From Friday 27 March 2009 until Sunday 21 June 2009, a special exhibition will be held in Roermond on Carthusian life in the Netherlands, highlighting this order from a national and international perspective. The exhibition will not only pay a lot of attention to the range of Dutch monasteries, buildings, and their history, but also to the wealth of art objects and artefacts that were used here throughout the centuries. Several outstanding works of art from national and international collections, therefore, will be on display in Roermond especially for this occasion.
